Who we are
Settefrati Farm is a stone structured farmhouse dating back to the 17th century, originally a convent.
It is roomy and preserves many of its original features like the white washed walls, the beams, the fireplaces and the terracotta floors. Situated on the Chianti hills, in a rich landscape of olive groves, vineyards and cypresses the house is in a quiet place but not isolated and the little village of Montaione is only 1.5 km away.
A lovely little rural village with craft shops, supermarkets, banks, pharmacy, doctors, petrol stations and excellent restaurants and pizzeria some of which only a few minutes walk.
The location of the accomodation is well reached in 40 minutes both from the Pisa International and Florence Airports along the main Florence-Pisa-Livorno road.
The house is a two-story house: on the ground floor there is lounge with sofas anch armchairs, a dinning-room, a kitchen, a big bathroom and a bedroom. The other three bedrooms are on the second floor with another big bathroom. Still on the ground floor there are two fireplaces, one of them completely covered in handmade stone.
Internet access , television, satellite Tv, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and all small appliances are available. In front of the house there is a private garden with a beautifull gazebo and barbecue from wich you can enjoy a lovely view of the countryside and jacuzzi for 6 people.
The private swimming pool is on a little hill that overlooks the farmhouse. All around the pool lawn, trees for the shade, a large gazebo with tables, chairs, sofas, and sunbeds.
The products of our vegetable garden are available free of charge to all our guests which can also enjoy our “herb garden” and experience them in making dishes.
This farmhouse is the ideal for a family or a small group. It can accomodate up to 10 people plus 3 children requiring a cot
It is a small family farm with olive groves and vineyards.
Every day the local baker delivers fresh bread and othe bakery products.
Nelle vicinanza their is a tennis court, a riding school and the golf course in Castelfalfi is just 2o minutes ride. If required it's possible to rent bicycles, car, taxi (upto 9 people) and request midweek housecleaning and babysitting.
